Area Lakes
Lauderdale Lakes
The Lauderdale Lakes consist of a chain of three lakes - Green, Middle, and Mill Lakes - located in north-central Walworth County The Lakes have a total surface area of 807 acres with maximum depths ranging from 42-55 feet.
Turtle Lake
Turtle Lake is a 141-acre lake located in Walworth County. This spring-fed lake has has a maximum depth of 30 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing on the Westside.
Lake Beulah
One of the prime lakes for Inland Lake sailing, this 834-acre lake lies less than two hours north of Chicago. All water sports are welcome here, but sailing holds a special spot with the residents and summer visitors to Lake Beulah.
Whitewater/Rice Lakes
Located in Walworth County, Whitewater and Rice Lakes are served by the Towns of Whitewater & Richmond. Of the 851 total land parcels in the district, roughly 80% are in the Town of Whitewater and 20% in the Town of Richmond.
Lake Wandawega
Lake Wandawega is a 120 acre lake located in Walworth County with a maximum depth of 8’. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing. You can expect to catch Panfish, Largemouth Bass and Northern Pike.
Twin Lakes
Elizabeth Lake is a 725 acre lake with a maximum depth of 32 feet and Lake Mary is a 327 acre lake with a maximum depth of 33 feet. Visitors have access to the both lakes from public boat landings.
